Yahoo! Inc today opened its Yahoo! Mail Beta site to the public worldwide. We've been using the Beta for sometime now and while it takes some getting used to, its sleek new interface coupled with new functionality is definately refreshing. It's look like Microsoft Outlook.
The PhotoMail technology implemented with the new look Yahoo! Mail allows insertions of up to 300 pictures into the body of the email. No, not 30, 300! You can also now check your emails on selected mobile phones using Yahoo! Go for Mobile technology. They even have tabbed email browsing within the page, so one browser tab is all you will need to view your emails (but the idea of a tab within a tab does freak us out quite a bit!)
The search feature also has been enhanced, and it took no more then a few seconds to pull out a couple of important emails from my 5,000 messages . They've even thrown in a RSS reader in there, so you can now have all your favorite RSS feeds while checking your email!
If you haven't already, give the beta a try at http://new.mail.yahoo.com, login with your Yahoo! ID and you will be taken to the new interface. You still have the option to switch back to the old interface at any time at the click of a button.
